Prima Raccolta is our plan for the first LONGIORO commercial pressing. Following settlement, we hope to begin tending the grove that will become the home of Oliveto Letizia. The estate remains in the care of its current owners until then.

The oil has not yet been pressed or bottled. We hope to begin with the 2026 harvest, subject to settlement and the season, with the first release provisionally planned for early 2027.

The grove is planted with hundred-year-old Minuta trees, alongside Verdello and Biancolilla. Our plans for its care will begin after settlement and be shaped by the trees and their needs.

The Planned First Harvest

We plan to cold-extract the olives at the mill within six hours of picking. The oil will be left unfiltered and allowed to settle naturally before bottling.

The founding release is planned as a limited allocation of 500 numbered 250 ml glass bottles, subject to the harvest. Settlement and harvest conditions will guide final production and release timing.

The Character of the Oil

The harvest will determine the character of this first vintage. Tasting notes will be shared after pressing, once we can taste and assess the oil itself.

La Torre

The Norman watchtower ruin on the estate is the inspiration for the mark in our product design. A connection to the place where we hope this first harvest will begin.

Planned Provenance

We plan to link each numbered bottle to an individual provenance record on the XRP Ledger, documenting the estate, cultivar, harvest and bottle number. Bottle-specific records and QR-code verification will follow production.

The Science

We plan to commission HPLC polyphenol analysis after the first harvest. Results will be shared when available and linked to the planned provenance records.
